Setting up a different Base Pay for an allowed department

 

If employees are paid a different amount for working in any other department but their home department, you will need to override the base pay for their allowed department(s)

  1. Choose Employees in the navigation list.
  2. Select the employee you wish to work with from the list. If you need to create a new employee select + New.
  3. Configure the desired employee settings.
  4. Go to the Wages tab.
  5. Next to the effective date you wish to override will be an arrow, click on the arrow to display the list of departments the employee is allowed to work in and their associated Pay Rates. If you need to assign additional departments to the employee click on the Manage Allowed Departments button.
  6. Single click on the Pay Rate field.
  7. Enter the amount that you wish to use for the selected department.
  8. Repeat this process for any additional departments.
  9. Once complete, select Save.
